According to several surveys, younger customers do not primarily want to call in for help. They have a natural do-it-yourself approach to the internet and communication. We offer those who want a seamless self-help solution, which in many cases helps the customer several times faster than a phone support ever can. Chatbots, FAQs and support forums are some examples of solutions that are primarily presented to those who want to try to solve their questions themselves. Our job at Nordicom is to make the self-help support as flexible and user-friendly as possible.
How it works
The goal is an updated self-service that is adapted to the customer’s needs
Self-service acts as a filter for simpler cases that don’t need the help of a real agent. As step one in all service cases regardless of channel, the customer is offered the opportunity to describe their case in a chat, in an IVR or via the web. There, they receive suggestions for common solutions based on their case. If this does not resolve the matter, the customer is only then connected to the next step, which means a personal contact via chat, e-mail or phone. To stay one step ahead, customer service via phone and e-mail collects new insights daily about customers’ most common questions. These are transferred to FAQ and chat to help more customers next time, already in step one.
